The Word of God

Thy word oh Lord, is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. (Psalm 119: 105)
The word of the Lord is life,
The word of the Lord is refreshing; it brings gladness and calmness to the soul.
It is POWER; it motivates and strengthens the body to keep going.
The word of the Lord is true; it gives assurance and approves.
The word of the Lord is deep; it reveals the hidden and brings understanding, yet simple.
The word of the Lord is wisdom, it is alive, it is great and it is the secret behind the key to living.

Read the word, chew it, meditate on it and let it be food to your soul…it rejuvenates dead cells in the whole being (life, situations, mind, body, soul and spirit).

I pray that you will find it in your heart to read the Bible and spend time understanding the message of God that has been for many years ago.

Are You Making a Difference or Marking The Register?

Do you know what I am thinking?
What do we do after an inspirational speech?
What do we do after we exit an inspirational session (place of worship?)
What do we do after we get a revelation or a prophecy?
What do we do after a powerful prayer session with decrees?
What do we do after a praise and worship session?
What do we do after we have watched all possible media programmes, read books, listened to audio programmes pertaining to motivation and inspiration that we have spent money on (or invested on?)

(I’ll tell you what we do, after all of these, we get hyped, procrastinate and drop everything at the doorstep and we carry on with life as though we never attended anything. Nothing about us basically changes…absolutely nothing…waste of time, energy, money and space… psst!)

What do we do?
Has your life changed? Honestly, sit down and think about this….has it changed?
Are you still where you were couple of years, months, weeks, days, hours, minutes and seconds back?
Why do you attend, listen to, read or watch that session? Why?
Was it because of peer pressure? Was it because you wanted to be seen being associated with ‘a certain group’? Was it because you wanted to mark the register as ‘oh yes I attended, I’m present’?

Then after all of these, whose life have you impacted positively?
Can people see or spot a positive difference in you worth emulating?
If the answer is no…then as bad as it hurts, you’re wasting time on earth.

This then brings the question, why are you on earth? Who are you? For what purpose is your existence? Who are you meant to be?

My dear, life is no bed of roses but it can be adventurously interesting and fulfilling.

My God tells me that in HIS presence, there is fullness of Joy and at HIS right hand, there are pleasures forever more….if this is true, which fortunately it is, then when you attend a for example, church on Sunday, because you’re in HIS presence, you should be filled with power to allow you bask in the full measure of His anointing and in return influence people around you positively. When this happens don’t you think the world will be a better place?

THIS, my brothers and sisters is what I call purpose driven, purpose fulfilled.

So what is happening to the millions, which includes you and I, that attend so many sessions…what influence is it having on our society? Look around you please, appraise the situation and put things right. For God hates hypocrites and liars, you’re either in or out…. the choice my dear, IS YOURS….

Take care and keep thinking of how you can make a difference and then do it.

Are You Offended?

Offence is one of the devil's most dangerous weapons. If someone offends you and you don't deal with the offence it soon turns into bitterness. I encourage you that if someone has offended you, please try and let go of it and try not to hold on to the offence. We must always try and forgive those who have wronged us, no matter how bad. God will fight against those who fight against you, he will contend against those who contend against you and He will fight your battle for you. If you don't let go of the offence, you weaken the hands of God in defending you, as He says that in order for our prayers to be answered we must forgive others. If you are finding it hard to let go, ask God for help in prayer and He will strengthen you and help you. There is no wisdom in holding onto offence. Please let go and let God. There is much wisdom in forgiveness.

A Matter of Choice

Doing good is a matter of choice. You cannot do well or be of any good if you have unforgiveness in your heart. Unforgiveness brings pain and motivates you to revenge. You cannot do well if you have hatred in your heart. Harbouring hatred in our hearts drags us down to the pit of bitterness. You will find it hard to do any good if all you are preoccupied with is offence. Offence will surely come but it must not stop you from being a good person. Doing good is a matter of choice, your choice. When you choose to do good in spite of what has been done to you, heaven will applaud you. You will find peace of mind and satisfaction. It is better to give than to receive because in giving there is fulfilment, joy and happiness. The ability is in you to do good, the power is in you to do evil. The choice is yours. Doing good brings life, doing evil brings death, unhappiness and pain. Doing good is a matter of your will being submitted to the will of God. God desires that you do good unto others, as you would have them do unto you. If someone has wronged you continue to do good to that person. If you are hurt don’t stop doing good, as the good that you do will eventually become a testimonial of the true person that you are, so I encourage you today to continue to do good.
