It was reported in the news the other day that a farm owner had left all of his horses and ponies unattended, dishevelled and starving hungry. He abandoned them all in fields on the farmland. They were left in the cold unattended, starving hungry and very, very, thin. Think about it. These animals were created for our pleasure. We are supposed to look after them, groom them and also enjoy their beauty. Eventually the RSPCA came to their rescue and they are now being looked after in a better environment where they are appreciated and loved. Obviously the owner of these animals failed in their responsibility to take care of the animals but I bet the person must have thought they could live up to the task. The owner did not count the cost.
What am I driving at? Before you do anything take time to think. Don't make decisions you'll regret later. Learn to take responsibility for whatever actions you take. Think before you buy, think before you speak, think before you take the next step. There is no wisdom in doing things that you are not willing to take responsibility for. Count the cost. Have integrity and be accountable for whatever you decide to do.
