Wisdom Is Supreme

In everything you do, I pray that you will seek wisdom. Wisdom will help you in your decision making and in every aspect of life. Wisdom is supreme, therefore seek wisdom. Wisdom will preserve your life and protect you. If you lack wisdom, ask the God of wisdom and He will give it to you.

The Word of God

Thy word oh Lord, is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. (Psalm 119: 105)
The word of the Lord is life,
The word of the Lord is refreshing; it brings gladness and calmness to the soul.
It is POWER; it motivates and strengthens the body to keep going.
The word of the Lord is true; it gives assurance and approves.
The word of the Lord is deep; it reveals the hidden and brings understanding, yet simple.
The word of the Lord is wisdom, it is alive, it is great and it is the secret behind the key to living.

Read the word, chew it, meditate on it and let it be food to your soul…it rejuvenates dead cells in the whole being (life, situations, mind, body, soul and spirit).

I pray that you will find it in your heart to read the Bible and spend time understanding the message of God that has been for many years ago.

Are You Making a Difference or Marking The Register?

Do you know what I am thinking?
What do we do after an inspirational speech?
What do we do after we exit an inspirational session (place of worship?)
What do we do after we get a revelation or a prophecy?
What do we do after a powerful prayer session with decrees?
What do we do after a praise and worship session?
What do we do after we have watched all possible media programmes, read books, listened to audio programmes pertaining to motivation and inspiration that we have spent money on (or invested on?)

(I’ll tell you what we do, after all of these, we get hyped, procrastinate and drop everything at the doorstep and we carry on with life as though we never attended anything. Nothing about us basically changes…absolutely nothing…waste of time, energy, money and space… psst!)

What do we do?
Has your life changed? Honestly, sit down and think about this….has it changed?
Are you still where you were couple of years, months, weeks, days, hours, minutes and seconds back?
Why do you attend, listen to, read or watch that session? Why?
Was it because of peer pressure? Was it because you wanted to be seen being associated with ‘a certain group’? Was it because you wanted to mark the register as ‘oh yes I attended, I’m present’?

Then after all of these, whose life have you impacted positively?
Can people see or spot a positive difference in you worth emulating?
If the answer is no…then as bad as it hurts, you’re wasting time on earth.

This then brings the question, why are you on earth? Who are you? For what purpose is your existence? Who are you meant to be?

My dear, life is no bed of roses but it can be adventurously interesting and fulfilling.

My God tells me that in HIS presence, there is fullness of Joy and at HIS right hand, there are pleasures forever more….if this is true, which fortunately it is, then when you attend a for example, church on Sunday, because you’re in HIS presence, you should be filled with power to allow you bask in the full measure of His anointing and in return influence people around you positively. When this happens don’t you think the world will be a better place?

THIS, my brothers and sisters is what I call purpose driven, purpose fulfilled.

So what is happening to the millions, which includes you and I, that attend so many sessions…what influence is it having on our society? Look around you please, appraise the situation and put things right. For God hates hypocrites and liars, you’re either in or out…. the choice my dear, IS YOURS….

Take care and keep thinking of how you can make a difference and then do it.

Are You Offended?

Offence is one of the devil's most dangerous weapons. If someone offends you and you don't deal with the offence it soon turns into bitterness. I encourage you that if someone has offended you, please try and let go of it and try not to hold on to the offence. We must always try and forgive those who have wronged us, no matter how bad. God will fight against those who fight against you, he will contend against those who contend against you and He will fight your battle for you. If you don't let go of the offence, you weaken the hands of God in defending you, as He says that in order for our prayers to be answered we must forgive others. If you are finding it hard to let go, ask God for help in prayer and He will strengthen you and help you. There is no wisdom in holding onto offence. Please let go and let God. There is much wisdom in forgiveness.

A Matter of Choice

Doing good is a matter of choice. You cannot do well or be of any good if you have unforgiveness in your heart. Unforgiveness brings pain and motivates you to revenge. You cannot do well if you have hatred in your heart. Harbouring hatred in our hearts drags us down to the pit of bitterness. You will find it hard to do any good if all you are preoccupied with is offence. Offence will surely come but it must not stop you from being a good person. Doing good is a matter of choice, your choice. When you choose to do good in spite of what has been done to you, heaven will applaud you. You will find peace of mind and satisfaction. It is better to give than to receive because in giving there is fulfilment, joy and happiness. The ability is in you to do good, the power is in you to do evil. The choice is yours. Doing good brings life, doing evil brings death, unhappiness and pain. Doing good is a matter of your will being submitted to the will of God. God desires that you do good unto others, as you would have them do unto you. If someone has wronged you continue to do good to that person. If you are hurt don’t stop doing good, as the good that you do will eventually become a testimonial of the true person that you are, so I encourage you today to continue to do good.

Do You Want To Be Rich?

Some people start a project and after a few months or so they suddenly move on to another project whilst the previous was not finished. When the new project encountered some few problems they went on to start another unfinished project. Each time an obstacle gets in the way of a new project, another one is started and hence a cycle of unfinished projects begin. Are you one of those who start things without seeing them through? If you don’t see things through how will you know whether the outcome will be successful? It is only diligence that brings wealth. If you are not diligent in one thing, you will never experience the potential success of it. Pennies make pounds and cents make dollars. If you are constantly raking in a few pennies every day and you are diligent with what you are doing, you will soon rake in pounds or dollars one day. So whatever you do today, be diligent in doing it. Are you at work right now? Be diligent with your work and you will be promoted one day. Are you running a small business? Be diligent in it and you will one day be a large company. Are you a student trying to make something of your life? Be diligent in your studies and one day you’ll be a graduate in whatever field of study you have chosen. Am I saying you are not a diligent person? No! I’m encouraging you that whatever you do, do it well, be diligent with it and you will prosper. Why? Because diligent hands maketh rich!

What's Your Problem?

A problem becomes a problem when you think there is no answer. A problem arises because it needs a solution. A problem needs an answer. A problem is a challenge not a problem. A challenge is a test of your ability to resolve a situation, it is a summon to action. A problem becomes a problem when you believe there is no solution. You must remember that there is always light at the end of every tunnel, so therefore there is a solution to EVERY problem. How do you see your challenges? No matter how big or small, there is a solution to EVERY problem. Don’t make a challenge a problem, make a challenge an adventure to be engaged in, a puzzle to be solved, an opportunity to learn something new. If you see your problems as a challenge then you will definitely find a way out. What’s your problem? It is just a challenge not a problem, it depends on how you see it. An inventor created the light bulb realising the challenge of not being able to see properly in the dark. He didn’t see darkness as a problem, he saw darkness as an opportunity to invent something new, and so he invented the light bulb. Don’t hang your head down and allow your problems to overwhelm you, look for a way out. You must engage and not ignore. If you ignore, it will lead to more problems. A solution, an answer is just right round the corner if only you can see and take the necessary steps to change your mindset. The solution starts with your mindset. There is a way out. You must first of all believe there is a way out. There is a way out, so don’t give up, look for the solution. The answer to the problem usually starts with you and how you see your situation. Are you looking at a problem or are you facing a challenge? The solution begins with you. Think positive and act now!

Are You One?

I hate laziness!
I wonder why the term laziness or act lazy had to exist.
It keeps bogging me and I keep falling into its trap.

Laziness has lots of cousins, sisters and brothers,

And they are very close; they can’t do without each other,
Procrastination, weary, tired, too much sleep, swollen eyes (because of too much sleep), dirty environment, stinking attitude and environment, filthy clothes, broke (as in pocket dry, got no money 'cause too lazy to work or spend all money gambling, drinking smoking and eating outside rather than organising oneself).
Yeah lest I forget, disorganisation, last minute.com, excuses, sickness

What is my point? WAKE UP AND DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO ON TIME, BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!!!
QUIT BLAMING OTHERS, QUIT DRAGGING YOUR FEET, MAKE HAY WHILST THE SUN IS SHINNING.

Oh dear, oh no! ‘I think…oh gosh, this refers to me you know…
Okay, but….Hey! Watch it! But me, no but, enough of my excuses, JUST DO IT!
Oh la la, that’s the NIKE slogan……Stop playing and be serious for once, DO IT!

I hate laziness!
Honestly, I actually wonder and ponder over why the term or act ever existed. It is danger!
But this time around, I won’t be a wimp; I’ll fight it because tenacity is the key to success; and oh yeah, I’m going to succeed!

JOY Unspeakable!

Whenever you’re down, remember you have something in you greater than any circumstance or situation. It is the JOY of the Lord.

It breaks every yoke, it renews your mind, it helps you encourage yourself in the Lord, it motivates you, it revives you, it renews you afresh, it utilises your inner man to accomplish the natural, it gives you hope, it strengthens your faith, it strengthens you, it quenches every thirst, it is JOY unspeakable.

This JOY of the Lord is wisdom in its own right
It is the key to the weapon of our warfare
It is soothing and has the aroma of God that calms the body, mind, soul and spirit; it has life.

Happiness comes and goes, but the JOY of the lord is forever sure in power to see you through. Tap into this JOY and your life will never be the same.

JOY, JOY, JOY, what a privilege and honour to have you in abundance.

Thank you God for showing us the way….For JOY is one of them.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

There is a song, writer unknown to me, I can only remember the 1st stanza…
"My mother,
Who sat and watched my infant head
When sleeping on my cradle bed
And shed some tears if I should cry….
My mother…."

This reminds of a role of a woman (young or old)
Are you a mother? When last did you show your children love?
Are you a mother? When last did you spend quality time with your family, especially your husband?
Are you a single mother? When will you stop feeling sorry for yourself and get on with it?
Are you a mother? When will you stop being wicked to other people’s children?
Are you a mother? When will you stop causing havoc in your children’s marital home?
Are you a mother? When will you take up your role in the society and quit gossiping and spending money frivolously?
Are you a mother? When will you start showing love to people around you and quit letting your past rule your present and future because of a terrible incident?

Are you yet to be a mother? What decisions have you made about your future? Think about it
Are you yet to be a mother? Who said you’ll have no children? Let me introduce you to my God through Jesus, for HIS word says, NONE SHALL BE BARREN

Are you a female? Who can find a virtuous woman? For she is worth more than gold, rubies or diamonds; you are priceless and precious.

Happy Mother’s day and remember the ball is in your court. What will you do with it? The choice is yours. Have a fulfilled day.

Be Patient

"Better a patient man than a warrior, a man who controls his temper than one who takes a city." Proverbs 16:32

Many people interprete patience as stupidity. With God that is not the case. If you exercise patience on a matter, you are most definitely walking in God's wisdom and there is a reward for it. Do not allow your temper to overtake you, all our emotions are subject to our authority. You can control your temper if you purpose to do so in your heart and God will help you. You are not alone, we all feel temperamental at times but this feeling is not pleasing to God, we must let it die. If you do not learn to control your temper, it can lead to you living a life of regret. Ask God to help you, it is not too late. A lot of people think when the situation arises they will be able to control themselves but find themselves failing time and time again.

The root cause of your temper has to be dealt with. The only way this can be done is by asking God to reveal the root cause of the problem. It may be to do with your childhood and how you were raised or it could be some other reason why. The most important thing is that the problem must be dealt with and it must not be ignored as just a passing phase. You must ask God to help you at your point of weakness, He is ready and willing to deliver you from weaknesses that might hinder His blessings from coming into your life.
Remember, you are not alone, there are countless other people going through the same thing. Nobody is perfect.

What Are You Planning?

"Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed." Proverbs 16:3

It is very clear in the words of this verse that failure looms ahead if one does not commit one's plans to the Lord. The verse does not advise you to commit some things to the Lord, it advises you to commit whatever you do, which means everything you do must be committed to the Lord in order to assure the success of it. You might say, "well I've been planning things by myself for a while now and they have come out alright." That may seem okay to you but success does not come without commitment and planning. God's desire is that we should commit all our plans into HIs hands so that He will make them successful for us. If we purpose to commit our plans to the Lord all the time, we will be able to avoid all the pitfalls that lies in our way of success.

The choice is yours, God will not force you against your will. My advice to you is to heed His words, they will bring you success. Failure can easily be avoided if we heed to the counsel of the Lord. It would be wise to listen to the wisdom of your Maker, He is the only One who can see the pitfalls ahead and He alone knows the end from the beginning.
Building a tower of success might be an enormous task but if we follow the Architect's plan then our purpose will be accomplished. The road to success may not be easy but we will accomplish our purpose if we listen to God's counsel and carefully follow His plans. Don't wait till tomorrow, let Him help you today. Your success is just right round the corner.

Put out the Fire!

Are you a gossip? You'd probably say no. "How dare you call me a gossip?", I hear you say. I am not accusing you at all, I am just prompting you to think about the things you do and the effects it might have on others. What things do you allow? Have you had someone call you lately saying "have you heard?, I heard that such and such is doing so and so and guess what, that person's marriage is falling apart, didn't you hear?" Your response at this point is so crucial to you being either a participator or a person of integrity, a person who cares about others. It takes only a simple word of gossip to destroy someone else's life. What if you were the person being gossiped about? Try and put yourself in other people's shoes. If you found out your friends had betrayed you through gossip would you be happy? My message to you today is to do unto others what you would have others do unto you. Gossip is not a good thing. Why don't you try and encourage others instead of pulling them down. It is better to build than to destroy. Remember, what goes around comes around. God bless you as you turn your back on gossips. Don't ignite the fire, put it out!

Good Instruction

When I was young I used to think I knew it all but as I grew older I realised that I didn't know anything at all, in fact, I was just beginning to learn about life and the wisdom that comes from experience. The older you get, hopefully the wiser you'll become. If you are able to listen, you will learn more. Instead of talking too much and coming across like you know it all, why don't you take some time to listen. Listen to your elders, respect them and see from their point of view. Always consider good advice. It is not good to come to a place where we think we know it all. Tell me, who knows it all? There is not one man on the face of the earth who can claim they know everything. We all have something to learn from each other. Life in itself is there to teach us, so speak less and listen more. Where there are too many words, sin is not far away. Take time to consider what other people are trying to say to you. Try and listen to your parents or grandparents good advice. Usually older people give good advice because they have something to compare their lives with. This is called 'experience'. Take time to consider good advice and instruction and it will go well with you. What am I trying to say? He who holds his tongue is wise. Listen more and speak less, it will do you a world of good!

SAY THANK YOU

This e-mail was sent to me by a friend, I hope it blesses you as it blessed me.

DEAR GOD:
I want to thank You for what you have already done. I am not going to wait until I see results or receive rewards; I am thanking you right now. I am not going to wait until I feel better or things look better; I am thanking you right now. I am not going to wait until people say they are sorry or until they stop talking about me; I am thanking you right now.. I am not going to wait until the pain in my body disappears ; I am thanking you right now. I am not going to wait until my financial situation improves; I am going to thank you right now. I am not going to wait until the children are asleep and the house is quiet; I am going to thank you right now. I am not going to wait until I get promoted at work or until I get the job; I am going to thank you right now. I am not going to wait until I understand every experience in my life that has caused me pain or grief; I am thanking you right now. I am not going to wait until the journey gets easier or the challenges are removed; I am thanking you right now. I am thanking you because I am alive. I am thanking you because I made it through the day's difficulties. I am thanking you because I have walked around the obstacles.
I am thanking you because I have the ability and the opportunity to do more and do better. I'm thanking you because FATHER, YOU haven't given up on me.

COUNT THE COST

It was reported in the news the other day that a farm owner had left all of his horses and ponies unattended, dishevelled and starving hungry. He abandoned them all in fields on the farmland. They were left in the cold unattended, starving hungry and very, very, thin. Think about it. These animals were created for our pleasure. We are supposed to look after them, groom them and also enjoy their beauty. Eventually the RSPCA came to their rescue and they are now being looked after in a better environment where they are appreciated and loved. Obviously the owner of these animals failed in their responsibility to take care of the animals but I bet the person must have thought they could live up to the task. The owner did not count the cost.

What am I driving at? Before you do anything take time to think. Don't make decisions you'll regret later. Learn to take responsibility for whatever actions you take. Think before you buy, think before you speak, think before you take the next step. There is no wisdom in doing things that you are not willing to take responsibility for. Count the cost. Have integrity and be accountable for whatever you decide to do.

GOOD FOR EVIL

"If a man pays back evil for good, evil will never leave his house." Proverbs 17:13

If you desire to have peace of mind and happiness in your life, you have to be good to others. You MUST never repay evil for good. It is only a good heart that does good to others. Remember that saying, "Love your neighbour as yourself"? If you don't love yourself, how can you love your neighbour as your own self? Self is where it starts and charity begins at home. You have to start being good to yourself and those around you and you will find that good will come to you in your own time of need. Remember, our deeds are like seeds in our hands. What seed is in your hand, the seed to sow good and reap joy and happiness or the seed to sow evil and reap evil? The decision is in your hands. It is never too late to change and be good.

EVERY INTELLIGENT PERSON MAY NOT BE WISE

We all need wisdom whether young or old.

Wisdom is the ability to use your knowledge and experience to make good decisions and judgements.

For acquiring a disciplined and prudent life, doing what is right and just and fair. For giving prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the young.

Let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance.

We all certainly hope to gain a little wisdom as we grow older.
